Megan Chumbley is a Kentucky born, LA based actor and filmmaker who likes to play around in the less frequented corners of the human experience. Their 48 hour short films have won awards such as Filmmaker of the Year, Best Director, and Best Film. Their most recent short "The Current" is based on her own sexual assault and told from the eyes of the assailant. The Current received the Audience Award at Boundless Film Festival and will have its US premiere at Woodstock Film Festival 2022. Professionally she's worked with Lena Dunham as her assistant on the Sundance Selected 2022 feature, “Sharp Stick”, and as an assistant director on projects ranging from independent films to Apple ads.

Megan’s creative style was recently described as an elegant "fuck you" and she's never felt so seen.
